Rekor diraih PT GH EMM ini memecahkan rekor Guinness World Records yang sebelumnya dipegang oleh PLTU Stanwell unit 4, Queensland, Australia yang hanya beroperasi nonstop selama 1073 hari. "Kami hari ini MURI memberikan piagam penghargaan kepada PT GH EMM Indonesia yang memiliki unit PLTU yang bekerja nonstop tanpa henti terlama dengan waktu 1438 hari," ungkap Senior Manager MURI, Triyono ketika diwawancarai usai menyerahkan penghargaan rekor MURI 'Kontinuitas Operasi Unit Terpanjang' di PT GH EMM Indonesia, Jumat 18/6/2021. Triyono menjelaskan, torehan rekor MURI kategori 'Kontinuitas Operasi Unit Terpanjang' yang telah diraih PT GH EMM Indonesia tersebut merupakan sebuah rekor dunia yang baru. "Rekor yang sejenis seperti ini pernah diraih perusahaan di Australia pada 16 Agustus 2002 silam dengan jumlah waktu 1073 hari," jelasnya. Penilaian dilakukan hingga menetapkan PT GH EMM meraih rekor dunia tersebut menurut Triyono dilakukan selama dua bulan dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber termasuk PLN dan diketahui operasi unit PLTU ini adalah yang terpanjang di dunia. "Kami juga memeriksa ke berbagai negara dan belum ada mesin perusahaan yang bekerja sampai 1438 hari nonstop seperti yang di PT GH EMM Indonesia . Ini kategori teknologi dimana PT GH EMM mampu mengoperasikan dan maintenance peralatan dengan baik sehingga semua bisa berjalan nonstop dengan waktu yang lama, ini capaian luar biasa dan MURI mengapresiasi," ungkapnya rekor ini pertama di Indonesia dan terlama di Dunia. Sementara itu, Presiden Direktur PT GH EMM Indonesia, Mr Fu Yue Long menyampaikan, pengembangan PLTU PT GH EMMI Indonesia mulai berdiri sejak Juli 2011 yang memiliki PLTU Mulut Tambang Simpang Belimbing 2x150 MW yang beroperasi dengan batubara kualitas sangat rendah dimana nilai kalori 1800 sampai 2200 kcal/Kg. Mr Fu Yue Long mengaku, PT GH EMM Indonesia juga saat ini telah berhasil membuka lebih dari 2000 lapangan pekerjaan bagi tenaga lokal. "Kita juga melakukan sumbangan APD ke masyarakat setempat apalagi saat pandemi seperti ini.
